Description

Ichiban Kuji Toy Story: Playtime Pals Forever is a prize lottery produced by BANDAI SPIRITS and based on the Toy Story films.

About this item

The lineup spans 18 prize tiers, running from A Prize through Q Prize plus a Last One Prize, and this run is a re-release of the original series. The figure tiers open with an A Prize Woody figure and continue through a long sequence of mini figures covering the mutant toys from Sid's bedroom. The later tiers step away from figures: a pouch, a clear file paired with a sticker, and a postcard set of memorable scenes. The Last One Prize is a Buzz figure, awarded to whoever draws the final ticket.

Each purchase is a single draw and the prize is selected at random. The tier and the character cannot be chosen, and one purchase is not the complete set of 18 prizes.

About the franchise

Toy Story is the Pixar film series that follows Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll, and Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger action figure, along with the rest of Andy's toys. The first film opened in 1995 and the series has continued across sequels and shorts.

This Ichiban Kuji draws heavily on the first film, in particular the mutant toys rebuilt in Sid's bedroom, including Babyface, Legs, Roller Bob and the Hand-in-the-Box. Woody and Buzz bookend the lineup as the A Prize and Last One Prize figures.
