Description

Morning Musume Costume Charm is a gashapon capsule toy series from Bandai that reproduces costumes worn by the idol group Morning Musume as packaged miniature charms.

About this item

Each charm reproduces one of Morning Musume's past costumes and is presented inside its own package, so the outfit stays visible through the packaging. The series has 6 types in total.

Each purchase of the Morning Musume Costume Charm gashapon is a single capsule drawn at random. The costume design cannot be chosen, and one capsule is one charm, not the complete 6-type set. Bandai lists the item as recommended for ages 15 and over.

About the franchise

Morning Musume is a Japanese idol group formed in 1997 and the flagship act of the Hello! Project collective. The group uses a rotating membership in which members graduate and new generations join through auditions, which is why its history is usually described era by era.

Costumes are closely tied to how fans remember each of those eras, and this Bandai gashapon series draws on that history by turning past outfits into packaged charms.
