Manga Million: Read One Piece and Naruto Free in 100+ Languages

Shueisha's Manga Million lets anyone read roughly 400 manga series — One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen and more — for free, in over 100 languages, with no account required. It launched on August 6, 2026 for the publisher's 100th anniversary, and it is a limited run scheduled to stay online only until the end of December 2027. Here is what is on it, how the free "near-simulcast" chapters work, and which series overseas collectors will want to start reading first.

What is Manga Million?

Manga Million is a free digital manga service from Japanese publisher Shueisha that offers about one million pages of manga in more than 100 languages through the company's official website. No registration or payment is required to read.

The scale is the headline. Shueisha put roughly 400 series on the platform at launch, and about 300 of them are receiving an official English translation for the first time. Rather than machine translation, the publisher says every title has been localized by professional translators. Around 150 of the selections are shojo (girls') manga, which is the segment usually thinnest on legal English shelves.

It is explicitly a 100th-anniversary project, not a permanent one: the free library is scheduled to remain available until the end of December 2027.

Which series are on it

The catalog leans on Shueisha's biggest Weekly Shonen Jump and Young Jump properties, alongside classic shojo. Notable confirmed titles include:

Category Series available
Shonen mainstays One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man
Seinen / newer hits Kingdom, SPY×FAMILY, Oshi no Ko
Shojo classics NANA, Kimi ni Todoke

The language list runs well beyond the usual English/Chinese pairing, including Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French, Turkish, Tagalog, Korean and Polish, among others.

How the free new chapters work

Manga Million is not only a back-catalog archive — it also carries near-current chapters of ongoing series. "Near-simulcast" here means the latest chapters arrive roughly two to three weeks after they first appear in Japanese magazines.

That rollout began later in August 2026 and covers about 30 currently serialized titles. One Piece leads the effort, with new chapters planned in an impressive 96 languages — a legal, official route to the newest story for readers who previously had none in their language.

What it means for collectors

For fans outside Japan, this is the cleanest legal on-ramp yet to the exact franchises the figure market is built on. The series topping the Manga Million list — One Piece, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kingdom, SPY×FAMILY — are the same ones with the deepest shelves of scale figures, prize figures and Ichiban Kuji.

If catching up on One Piece for free turns into wanting Luffy's crew on your shelf, that is where a specialist store helps. Akibato stocks Japanese collectibles and ships worldwide, so you can browse the One Piece figure collection at Akibato or the full catalog of in-stock anime collectibles once you have found your next series to read.
