One Piece Ichiban Kuji 'Animal Assembly': Chopper, Laboon, and the Cute Mascot Prizes Coming November 2026

Bandai Spirits is giving One Piece's animal cast the spotlight. A new lottery, Ichiban Kuji One Piece ~Animal Assembly!~ (一番くじ ワンピース~あにまる大集合!~), is set to roll out in Japan from November 14, 2026, gathering the series' mascots and non-human friends into one cheerful, deformed-art collection. For collectors used to Ichiban Kuji waves built around the Straw Hats or big battle scenes, this one is a change of pace: the stars here walk on four legs, swim, or ride a submarine.

What "Animal Assembly" Is

According to the official One Piece announcement and Bandai Spirits' Ichiban Kuji Club listing, the theme is straightforward and adorable: the animal characters of One Piece brought together with newly drawn, cute deformed (chibi-style) illustrations. The lineup leans toward practical everyday goods rather than large-scale battle figures, which is a recurring format for Bandai's lighter, character-goods kuji. Each draw is priced at 750 yen (tax included), and like all Ichiban Kuji, every ticket wins a prize — there are no blanks. Distribution is the usual Ichiban Kuji route in Japan: convenience stores and hobby shops that stock the program, with a phased rollout beginning on launch day.

The Prizes Revealed So Far

Bandai has only lifted the curtain on part of the lineup, noting that images are still in development and specifications may change. What is confirmed:

  • A Prize — Chopper Multi-stand: Tony Tony Chopper, the crew's reindeer doctor and perennial merchandising favorite, anchors the top tier as a functional display/stand piece.
  • D Prize — Head Magnets (four types): a set featuring Shushu (the loyal dog from Orange Town), Laboon (the island whale from the Grand Line's entrance), Kung Fu Dugong, and Bepo (the Heart Pirates' polar-bear navigator and Trafalgar Law's crewmate).

The B, C, and E tiers, the Last One Prize, and any Double Chance campaign have not been detailed yet. Given the theme and the goods-focused format, expect more practical items — the kind of towels, plush, magnets, and small figures that typically fill out a lifestyle-oriented Ichiban Kuji.

Why Animal-Themed One Piece Collectibles Hit Different

One Piece has run for over a quarter century and produced an enormous catalog of figures, yet its animal characters rarely headline a set. Chopper is the exception — he is one of the most merchandised characters in the series — but Laboon, Kung Fu Dugong, and Bepo almost never anchor their own lineup. That scarcity is exactly what makes a themed kuji like this appealing to collectors: it puts spotlight-starved fan favorites onto shelf-ready goods. Laboon in particular carries real emotional weight for long-time readers, tied to one of the series' earliest and most enduring promises. Practical prizes — stands, magnets, everyday items — also tend to be the pieces collectors actually use and display, rather than box away, which gives a "cute goods" wave staying power beyond its release window.

Collecting One Piece in 2026

Ichiban Kuji prizes are a Japan-first release and can be hard to source once the physical run sells through, so overseas fans often turn to specialty importers to complete a set or chase a specific tier. If the Animal Assembly theme is on your radar, it is worth watching the full lineup reveal before launch. In the meantime, you can browse One Piece figures and collectibles at Akibato, which ships from Japan worldwide, and keep an eye on the store's wider Ichiban Kuji collection for prize-figure drops across other series. As new anime-tied waves like this land, demand for Chopper and the crew's animal companions tends to climb.
