Junket Bank Anime: October 5 Premiere, Cast, and Where to Watch
The Junket Bank anime is officially on the way: the TV adaptation of Ikko Tanaka's gambling manga premieres on October 5, 2026 on TV Tokyo, animated by studio CUE. The staff and full main cast are now confirmed, and the show drops into an already-crowded fall 2026 season. Here is everything locked in so far — the release date, where to watch, the cast, and what the series is actually about.
Junket Bank anime release date and where to watch
Junket Bank premieres on October 5, 2026 on TV Tokyo, airing in a late-night slot with new episodes weekly on Monday nights (JST). It is the first anime adaptation of the manga, following the initial announcement back in March 2026.
An overseas simulcast is the one big question mark. As of this writing, no official international streaming platform has been confirmed, so viewers outside Japan should watch for a licensing announcement in the weeks before launch. The series joins a stacked October slate — see our guides to Blue Lock Season 3 and Tokyo Revengers Season 4 for other fall premieres.

What is Junket Bank about?
Junket Bank is a gambling thriller set in a world where banks double as high-stakes casinos. Ordinary bank employee Akira Mitarai is abruptly transferred to a secret "Special Operations Department" — an underground arena where clients wager fortunes, and their lives, on lethal games.
There he is paired with Shin Mafutsu, a preternaturally calm gambler, and pulled into matches where higher stakes carry deadlier penalties. Fans of psychological gambling series like Kaiji and Kakegurui will recognize the DNA: tense mind games, escalating rules, and characters who bet everything on a single read.
The manga by Ikko Tanaka has run in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump since July 2020, building a following on its intricate game design and villain-of-the-arc structure. Its place in that lineage was underscored in July 2026, when Junket Bank shared a special collaboration visual with the classic death-game manga Liar Game.
Should collectors care about Junket Bank?
For now, Junket Bank is a viewing pick rather than a shelf pick. As a brand-new adaptation it has no figures or Ichiban Kuji of its own yet, and none have been announced. If the anime breaks out the way Kakegurui did, expect merchandise to follow whichever characters land with fans. Kakegurui, for reference, went on to spawn Nendoroids, scale figures, and Ichiban Kuji after its anime hit — a plausible roadmap should Junket Bank connect with the same audience.
Until then, if you are lining up a fall 2026 collection, the season's confirmed collectibles are where to spend. For the full seasonal picture, see our fall 2026 anime to collect roundup.
