JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Art Book: Hirohiko Araki's First Lithographs Collected for 2025-2026

On July 31, 2026, Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage announced a limited-edition art book gathering Hirohiko Araki's recent JoJo's Bizarre Adventure lithographs and the international exhibitions built around them. Orders in Japan opened on August 24, 2026. For a manga artist whose color spreads already sell as fine art, the book is notable for one reason above all: it documents the first time in Araki's long career that he has worked in lithography.

Araki's First Lithographs

Beginning in June 2025, Araki hand-produced nine lithograph works, a printmaking medium he had never used before, alongside a set of nine lenticular pieces that shift as you move past them. The subjects are exactly the kind of iconic pairings JoJo fans display on their shelves: classic match-ups such as DIO and The World sit beside newer faces like Dragona Joestar and the Smooth Operators from the current JOJOLands arc. For a series that has always treated its Stands as characters in their own right, seeing them rendered in a slower, more deliberate print medium is a genuine change of register.

From San Francisco to the Venice Biennale

The lithographs did not debut in a Tokyo gallery. They were first unveiled at the Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco, on show from September 27 to October 25, 2025. From there the collection traveled: to the Shiro-shoin hall of Higashi Hongan-ji in Kyoto that November, timed with Art Collaboration Kyoto 2025; to the Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage gallery in Tokyo's Azabudai Hills from January 2026; and, from May 2026, to Palazzo Bembo in Venice as part of the Venice Biennale. That itinerary, treating JoJo art the way a museum treats a touring master, is a large part of why the accompanying book matters to collectors.

Inside the Art Book

The volume, presenting the 2025-2026 manga-art exhibition, is a 106-page B4 hardcover centered on the nine newly drawn 2025 lithographs and their global showings. The detail collectors have latched onto is the first-printing double cover: an outer jacket featuring Giorno Giovanna laid over a regular cover featuring Jotaro Kujo, so the earliest copies carry two of the franchise's most recognizable protagonists at once. As always with a Japan-first art release, availability and specifics can shift, so treat the order window as the fact that matters and check current listings before planning an import.

Why This Matters for JoJo Collectors

An art book like this rarely lives alone on a shelf. Fans who chase Araki's illustrations tend to build displays around them, pairing the printed art with figures, capsule toys, and other Stand-user goods. If you are assembling that kind of JoJo corner, it is worth browsing what is in stock now rather than waiting. Building a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure display? Shop JoJo's Bizarre Adventure figures and gashapon at Akibato. Because Akibato charges shipping by a parcel's total weight rather than per item, a few small pieces, such as capsule-toy figures, can travel together for roughly the cost of sending one, which makes it easy to round out a themed shelf in a single order.
